[FOURTH MENTION DUE TO UPDATE]

UPDATE:

We've followed the works of furniture makers Larry and Nancy Buechley for decades. This past Christmas, Tom got me a standing desk by the Buechleys (I have a bad back and standing vs sitting may help since I'm often in front of a desk). What's special about this desk -- last item on above list -- is that Larry also incorporated a wooden carving of my favorite photo of my two German Shepherds: Achilles and Gabriela playing tug-of-war with a rope.
