"CIRCLE VASE" (EARTHENWARE, 2006) by JUDY MCNEILL
Location: Kitchen-Pygmalion, First Floor

St. Helena had a street fair this weekend and I'm so pleased to have acquired a Circle Vase from local potter Judy McNeill. It's laden with a few colorful blooms, as I write this, perking up the kitchen!

SIX PAINTINGS FROM "SOBRE LA CONGOJA HIPOCONDRIACA" (2004) by RODRIGO PRIEGO
Location: Living Room, Pygmalion-First Floor

[THIRD MENTION DUE TO UPDATE]

UPDATE:

Mexican painter Rodrigo Priego first came to our attention because one of his paintings graces the cover of his brother and poet Ernesto Priego's new book NOT EVEN DOGS (Meritage Press, 2006) -- click on title's link to see the image! And now, Ernesto reports on his blog:

I am very proud to say that my brother, Rodrigo Priego, is participating as I write this in two international festivals in Spain with one of his video works, Clip 1 (Mexico, 2006). Individually, his work is being shown and is on competition as well at the Festival Internacional de Vídeo i Arts Digitals (Girona, 18 - 21 October 2006), and as a member of the Anonimo Colectivo at La Sala Naranja, Festival Internacional de Video Arte de Valencia (24 October - 5 November, 2006). In both cases, Mexico is represented by Rodrigo and Anonimo Colectivo.

Congratulations Rodrigo!
